That's simple enough, thank you! Now to find a printer that reports stackers.
One last unrelated question, if the printer supports media-col, should that always be used instead of media and print-color-mode? Is there any harm in specifying both? ippeveprinter doesn't report any errors if both are present,
job-attributes-tag
media (keyword) na_legal_8.5x14in
print-color-mode (keyword) monochrome
media-col (collection) {media-color=monochrome media-size-name=na_legal_8.5x14in}
Thanks,
Andy

I've checked a couple that support offset stacking via drivers, unfortunately when I do a Get-Attributes there's nothing in the response that indicates stacker support.
You'd just look at the "output-bin-supported" attribute for any of the "stacker-N" or "my-stacker" values.

I don't believe so, no. Certainly no Client I am aware of will set this value.

Jobs are stacked by Set, and what constitutes a Set is determined by the multiple-document-handling attribute. As most printers only support single-document jobs, the Set is usually one copy of the document.
