For those who did not attend the meeting, it is my understanding that these
three specifications are to be joined by two WIMS candidate standards to
constitute the entire SM3 overall model specification.
Specification 4: Counters & Timers
[Assumed that PWG Candidate Standard 5106.1-2007 - PWG Standardized Imaging
System Counters, is applicable, current and adequate]
Specification 5: Power
[Assumed that PWG Candidate Standard 5106.4-2011 - PWG Power Management
Model for Imaging Systems 1.0 is applicable, current and adequate]
These older documents must be reviewed with respect to the SM3 schema to
ensure applicability. Note that Counters and Timers were a section in the
2011 MFD Model and Common Semantics document, suggesting that there may have
been some changes since the 2007 document.
Thanks,
Bill Wagner
