I would hope there would also be a durable URL that always gets you to the latest copy. That link should be presented on the PWG website someplace (perhaps on the standards page).

A mail note from Pete Zehler in October 2012 yields this link:

(which says last updated July 12, 2012 - the '.docx' source is in the same directory)

Separately, the current PWG home page has the following:

http://www.pwg.org/namespaces.html

(which says last updated May 9, 2013 - probably when it was created during PWG website migration).

I suggest that following the PWG file naming conventions, the durable source and PDF should be in the directory

http://ftp.pwg.org/pub/pwg/general/process

in a file named:

  pwg-schema-namespace-registry-yyyymmdd.docx / pdf

Otherwise it collides w/ 'pwg-namespace-policy-yyyymmdd.txt'
which defines the overall PWG file naming conventions.

Any change needs to be coordinated with Mike Sweet and Daniel Dressler, so I'm not changing anything yet.
