Hi Charles,

If getting this done is important to someone and they don't want to wait, they can simply volunteer to take on the role of editor for an update to the registration. It is not hard. It just requires bandwidth and a willingness to contribute. Mike and I and others can provide guidance. This is how we all got started.

The first steps would be to download the following:

1. The ratified registration document (MS Word format likely most helpful):
https://ftp.pwg.org/pub/pwg/ipp/registrations/reg-ippenvelope10-20250703.docx
https://ftp.pwg.org/pub/pwg/ipp/registrations/reg-ippenvelope10-20250703.pdf

2. The latest MS Word Registration template:
https://ftp.pwg.org/pub/pwg/general/templates/reg-template.docx

Then make a copy or rename the template to be named "wd-ippenvelope11-YYYYMMDD.docx", put the content of the 1.0 document into the corresponding sections in the template, resolve the errata issues, and post a draft to the PWG FTP site in the appropriate location (ftp://ftp.pwg.org/pub/pwg/ipp/wd/).

Hope this helps,

Smith
