This message just came round in the HTTP WG.

For those of you with long memories, this draft was originally written by
Keith to warn IPP about using HTTP. The latest updated version doesn't
mention IPP at all, but it does contain a number of useful tips and warnings
about HTTP, which are of value to implementers of IPP. Recommended reading.
If you have any comments on the document, send them to the IESG as Last Call
comments.
