All,
The two causes of Digest failure of which I am currently aware are:
1) The IPP Client did not properly handle a Printer's "100 continue" HTTP
message
2) The nonce used by a Client contained a possible illegal character of a
space character (i.e. ' ' or 0x20). The Printer was using a space as its
delimiter in parsing.
I'll let you know if I receive other causes of failure.

Mike,
As noted in the document one of the major problems was the "100 continue"
that some Clients handled incorrectly. The biggest problems we saw were in
the Digest authentication test. We would have to ask the actual
implementers to let us know about the causes of the failures other than the
"100 continue".
Implementers may send the causes of authentication failures to me and I will
update the Bake-Off Summary document and send the issues out to the IPP list
maintaining the privacy of the Bake-Off participants.
Do we know what were the causes of the authentication failures?

Going through the results document for bake-off #3, it mentions
some authentication issues with HTTP, but doesn't go into any
details.
Will a follow-up (detail) document be provided to the list, or can
we at least get the break-down of the authentication failures?
