We need a little more input for that.
Do we want it done as an attribute of a Locale_Element, which would be the right place?
Do we want to specify a position within a UI string or do we want to enter the character for the hot key?
If we specify hot keys, we certainly will not do it within the UI string (like adding a '&').
Please make a simple statement.

Subject: short cuts
Do we want to support the definition of short cuts in the UI (e.g. select orientation control by pressing Alt+o)?
Some may say that's historic, some may insist it's mandatory, some may say it's not up to UPDF to tell.
I tend to belong to the first group, as everybody has a mouse by now. In some cases I work with the keyboard to be faster. But then I use tab and arrow keys.
But I don't think it would be much of a deal to implement it.
It would be part of a LocaleElement in the locale dtd.
Comments?
