    Bill,

Qualdocs is within our scope if there is sufficient interest by the group.
There certainly will be a number of fax and scanner people that cannot
attend the meetings but certainly can contribute via email. I have
discussed this with Richard Shockey and he is very supportive of any
contributions from the PWG IPP meetings.

Richard will certainly remain chairman and be the primary contact to
the IETF. All agreements (or recommendations) from the IPP meetings
would be also sent to the IFX mail list for those that cannot attend
the meetings. There are some logistics to be worked out, such as
who would chair the meeting, take the minutes and distribute to the
mail list, but this should not represent a significant roadblock.

I have been rather disappointed by the lack of progress on this topic
over the last year and I believe that some discussion in the IPP
    meeting would stimulate some activity.

I am sure that between myself and Paul Moore, most of the logistics
can be resolved and some useful discussion could commence.

Thanks for your query, as I should have included this background
information in my original request to add Qualdocs to Carl-Uno's
    list.
