You are absolutely right. Building a full featured client needs to include a
lot more than just the IPP protocol stack. I would like to see things like
directory access for finding printers, a local address book feature, how to
download drivers or UPDFs etc.
I expect that we can only start scratching the surface in this first BOF
meeting.

That means we need to address all sorts of ancillary things like discovery,

I think therefore that in this light updf is certainly a possible topic. I
suspect that we wont get that far though in the bof - we willl discuss much
higer level issues.
