I have submitted a new Printer MIB Internet Draft to the IETF.
You can retrieve a copy from our PWG server at:
ftp://ftp.pwg.org/pub/pwg/pmp/drafts/draft-ietf-printmib-mib-info-02.txt
For some reason, the previous draft with this name had never been
published as an internet draft. Therefore to keep the names straight
with the IETF, I renamed the previous 02 draft on the PWG server
to ....-01a.txt.
I propose the following schedule for this revision of the Printer MIB:
Comments from working group no later than 7/22/97
New Internet Draft published (if required) 7/24/97
(The cutoff for Internet Drafts before Munich is 7/30/97)
If no comments are received by 7/22, this current internet draft
will be presented to our Area Directors as a Draft Standard proposal.
The changes made in this MIB from the pmib_062597.txt version are:
1. Change from Norio Iwamoto at for Fuji Xerox in Japan to change the
description of prtMarkerSuppliesColorantIndex.
"The value of prtMarkerColorantIndex corresponding to
the colorant with which this marker supply sub-unit is
associated. This value shall be 0 if there is no
colorant table or if this supply does not depend on a
single specified colorant."
2. Request from Tom Hastings to add unknown(2) to
PrtInterpreterLangFamilyTC.
3. Request from Jeff Rackowitz at Intermec Corp. to include the
following editoral changes:
A. PrtCoverStatusTC needs to include the following statement:
"-- This value is a type 2 enumeration"
B. PrtInputTypeTC needs to include the following statement:
"-- This value is a type 2 enumeration"
C. PrtSubUnitStatusTC needs to include the following statement:
"-- This value is a type 1 enumeration"
D. The prtAlertSeverityLevel line of PrtAlertEntry is incorrect.
Change "PrtSeverityLevelTC," to "PrtAlertServerityLevelTC,".
4. Request from Jeff Rackowitz at Intermec Corp. to add the following
enumerations in the subunit group of PrtAlertCodeTC:
subunitUnderTemperature(35),
subunitOverTemperature(36),
subunitTimingFailure(37),
subunitThermistorFailure(38),
5. Request from Jeff Rackowitz at Intermec Corp. to add the following
enumerations to PrtInterpreterLangFamilyTC:

6. Several changes so the MIB would compile under the SMICng compiler:
A. Removed "experimental" and added "mib-2" and "DisplayString" to
the IMPORT statement.
B. Changed a few entry declarations to match object declarations.
C. Added new GROUP entries under the MODULE-COMPLIANCE construct for
all unconditionally optional groups.
7. A few other minor editorial changes.
