The Java 1.4 (I believe) has a Print Services API that is modeled on the IPP
semantics. Bob Herriot did the work with the Java community. It would be
nice to know whether that Java API has been implemented to support the IPP
protocol.

Anyways, the current CUPS release includes a Java implementation of
IPP along with some CUPS convenience classes and source code (of
course) that may support what this person needs. It doesn't
integrate with the Java Print Services API, tho...
