Changes made to create 28 October 2009 version (Prototype Draft)
Editorial – Kept document status as Prototype
Technical – Deleted explicit lists of appropriate or inappropriate Subunit
types from Section 4.2 and added warning about ambiguity for the corner
case (Interpreter), per WIMS WG discussion
Technical – Revised Power Log group to allow ONLY on System object,
per WIMS WG discussion
Technical – Added PowerComponentType and PowerComponentId to
Power Log group and examples in Section 5.4, WIMS WG discussion
– these elements will occur in the Power Monitor group in the SNMP MIB
but *not* in the XML Schema
Technical – Clarified value of zero (less than one second) in
StateChangeSeconds in Power Transition group, per October PWG F2F
Technical – Revised conformance requirements in Section 8.1 and 8.2, to
include Power General group and to clarify that Power General and Power
Log groups MUST only be implemented on System object, per WIMS WG
discussion
Technical – Added new section 9.4 PowerComponentTypeWKV, per WIMS
WG discussion
Editorial – Added new section Appendix A Design Alternatives, to durably
document important design decisions
