Hi Harry,
PrinterStatus is the status ONLY of an IPP-like Printer object,
not the non-existent Device object (which is what you want).
I suggest I machine translate HR MIB and MIB-II and add
appropriate elements to the PrtView.xsd (Printer MIB View)
schema (which already has the related Printer MIB status
elements mapped).
Without a Device object in SM, there's no good home for
these things. Trying to smash the abstract Printer object
to make it "device-ish" is the wrong modelling road.
Cheers,

Hi Harry,
PrinterStatus is a group of IPP-only printer elements. There is
presently no support in the SM/1.0 schema for Printer MIB or
HR MIB or MIB-II elements. Yes - it needs a new schema.

I looked through PrinterStatus.xsd and hoped to find something that maps
directly to hrPrinterDetectedErrorState from RFC 2790. Is this what is meant
to go in PrinterStateWKV? If not, I'd like to see if we can agree to put
hrPrinterDetectedErrorState into PrinterStatus.xsd (or must it be part of
some schema that maps the HR MIB?)
