Hi,

And new on SourceForge, but w/ good reviews, "XML Copy Editor"
for Windows and Linux which does full strict validation:

   - Lossless import and export of Microsoft Word documents (Windows only)

I just installed this on my Windows 7 machine and explored some of the
menus and
it looks like a quite nice XML-specific editor.
