I hope no one takes this the wrong way... I'm just curious about our attempt
to gather an exhaustive list of contributors back through time vs the fact
that the new RFC will "point" to RFC1759 with it's list of contributors
engraved in stone.
I think it was Chris who guided us to include a list - and I think this is
an excellent idea. Perhaps Chris can also indicate whether it is normal
to carry forward past contributors during the evolution of a topic on the
standards track.
