Just to be 100% clear, you must unsubscribe from ALL PWG mailing lists in
order to be removed from the PWG-Announce list. After you unsubscribe from
all lists, the next time the cron job runs (daily) you will no longer be on
the PWG-Announce mailing list.

Hi everyone,
Note that you *cannot* unsubscribe directly from
"pwg-announce at pwg.org", because it's a synthetic
mailing list that is the union of all the subscribers to
one or more PWG mailing lists.
You can unsubscribe yourself easily from any of
the specific PWG mailing lists by visiting:
http://www.pwg.org/mailhelp.html
You *will* have to respond to a confirm email after
you unsubscribe (to avoid hackers).

Greetings,
If it is the case that this is not a "full-service" mailing list (most are
not, in my experience), any subscriber who wishes to unsubscribe can do so
by either:
- send an empty email message to "pwg-announce-unsubscribe at pwg.org" and
following the instructions that come in the reply; or
- log in to the mailing list server (the URL is at the bottom of each
message, but it is here: https://www.pwg.org/mailman/listinfo/pwg-announce)
and unsubscribe themselves via the web interface.
FWIW, I am NOT a list administrator, just a perhaps somewhat more
experienced user of mailing lists providing tips.
HTH,
Smith
