Thanks very much - we just want the authoritative reference(s)
for the PDL formats - we expect implementors (not editors) to
actually read them.

Ira,
I will do the research as far as I can without actually reading
the standards documents. Assigning MIME types under the vendor
tree sounds like it could work, but I don't think we have anyone
to take the roll of change master for the DOD specifications.
Since I have not read the specs and have no intention of
reading them, I can't be an authoritative source.
