This past Friday (May 2nd) was the cutoff date for changes to the Printer MIB.
No further changes will be entertained. The final changes that have been
accepted
by the Working Group are listed below. Items listed as UNRESOLVED in the list
below
will be handled on a item by item basis. Changes to the MIB to fix these
unresolved
items must be accepted by Chris Wellens and myself as well as reviewed by Randy
Turner for workload estimation.
We have had the past two years to finalize RFC1759 (it was published in March
'95).
If we do not have all of the changes to this completed by now then something is
wrong. It is time to shut the project down.
