Hi Pete,
The latest versions of the Broadband Forum (aka DSL Forum) specs for CWMP
and data model base schema are:
TR-069 Amendment 3 - November 2010 - CPE WAN Management Protocol
http://www.broadband-forum.org/technical/download/TR-069_Amendment-3.pdf
TR-106 Amendment 5 - November 2010 - Data Model Template for
TR-069-Enabled Devices
http://www.broadband-forum.org/technical/download/TR-106_Amendment-5.pdf
(TR series use 'amendment' to mean complete new version, not an addendum)
GOOD NEWS - they use Elements correctly and use Attributes sparsely
(in an appropriate fashion, e.g., read-only versus read-write metadata).
Writing a PWG SM/2.0 data model for TR-069, is straightforward, IMHO - but
there are obvious missing features (firmware update, application protocol
config
etc.) but they could be developed in Semantic Model WG.
Cheers,
- Ira
