Hi,
My colleague Costas Kardamilas at Samsung has bumped into a bug
in the XML to Java compiler in JAXB that doesn't won't allow an element
name and a complex type name that are identical.
Per offlist conversations with Pete Zehler, I hereby request the complex type
names throughout the SM/2.0 schema set be changed to suffix "Type".
This is a tedious, but harmless change.
There *is* a bug in JAXB (which conflicts with the W3C XML standards and
advice in several of the best reference books about writing XSD).
Cheers,
- Ira
PS - The near-term workaround is to edit your local copy of SM/2.0 XSD.
This has already been verified by Costas.
