Greetings,

I've just posted a new draft of IPP Firmware Update Extensions v1.0, that is now labeled as STABLE, for us to review at this coming week's F2F:

https://ftp.pwg.org/pub/pwg/ipp/wd/wd-ippfwupdate10-20261031.docx

https://ftp.pwg.org/pub/pwg/ipp/wd/wd-ippfwupdate10-20261031-rev.docx

Changes in this revision:
Changed to Stable status since it has already been prototyped and re-prototyped for this revision;
Refactored the set of “printer-state-reasons” keywords to align with the set of states normalized across this specification and IPP System Service [PWG 5100.22] as per the updated "Second revision" wiki page proposal;
Updated the diagrams and descriptions in section 4 to illustrate the new set of "printer-state-reasons" keywords and states, and changed some normative requirements to enforce or encourage the flows described;
Updated IANA Considerations to reflect above changes; and
Various minor editorial changes.

I've updated my prototype implementations in libcups and my dart/flutter cleanroom apps, and they all work and interoperate. If all goes well I hope we can move forward after this review to WGLC / PWG LC / Formal Vote etc.

Cheers,
Smith
