Hi Mike,
I have received some valuable feedback from my colleague that I wanted to share.
Canon currently treats 215x345mm as “Indian Legal”, so our understanding is that as long as this is included in PWG spec, it is acceptable.
“In particular, for om_india-fs_215x345mm, please decide whether to call it in localised "FS" in accordance with the somewhat complicated Indian standard, perhaps "Legal" or "Ledger" as it may be sold in the local market, or "Indian Legal" as Canon refers to it. When making this decision in PWG, please also consider that Canon uses the term "Indian Legal" or "Legal(India)" to distinguish it from the US region’s Legal size, since Canon printer supports both region's Legal paper sizes (India and US) together. That naming would be easier for user to distinguish.”
For reference, hear are links to our manuals illustrating this usage:
* https://ij.manual.canon/ij/webmanual/PrinterDriver/M/iB4100%20series/1.0/EN/PPG/dg-c_paper_type02.html
* https://oip.manual.canon/USRMA-7917-zz-SSS-120-enUV/contents/devu-mcn-papers.html
Regarding the photo media sizes (13x22”, 20x30”, and 30x90cm, as well as the Indian Legal sizes, we would like to know the tentative timeline for when the localized names will be included in MSN2.2.
Thanks for your continued attention to these details. Let me know if you need any further information from our end.
Thanks,
Charles

Email was not sent from a Canon Network!
Charles,
WRT to the following requested size name:
om_india-legal_215x345mm
it seems like there is still some confusion about its standardization. Based on the information below we might want:
om_india-legal-1_215x335mm
om_india-fs_215x345mm
om_india-legal-2_215x355mm
Thoughts?

The former, FS, is 345 mm tall, i.e. the size requested by Canon, whereas the latter, Legal, is the only one to have two different values given for its height: 335 mm and 355 mm. However, it is unclear whether those are alternatives or minimum and maximum.
