So the updated draft I posted has them all sorted by dimensions - the biggest changes are in the ISO size table which demonstrates how the A/B/C-series sizes relate, along with some of the random sizes like DL and id-card-1. Most of the other tables were already sorted by size...
To get an idea of how sorting by name would work, look at the IANA registrations for the media size names.
(FWIW, it is super easy to re-sort the tables by name if that is preferred)
