Hi,

This document updates the original SNMPv3 over TLS spec (RFC 6353) to
support TLS/1.3 (and future standardized versions of TLS) and includes the
TLS/1.0 and TLS/1.1 deprecation in *all* TLS-based protocols (RFC 8996).

With thanks to Ken Vaughn of IEEE 1609 WAVE, ISO TC204 ITS, ETSI ITS,
and other key automotive safety standards.

This means that printers, scanners, and other imaging systems can support
the three IETF SNMP MIBs and the three PWG SNMP MIBs using standard
enterprise TLS key management in the customer's infrastructure.

In the automotive industry, it's being applied to Road Side Units (RSUs)
that
support automotive safety (i.e., vehicles talking to each other and RSUs and
sending Basic Safety Messages, etc.).

Cheers,
- Ira
