Just to be clear, Std 2600 is the one that is expiring at this point. It
is not a protection profile rather it is foundational -- defining terms,
describing scenarios, etc.
I think the .1, .2, .3, and .4 standards (the protection profiles) are 2 or
more years out.

*Subject:* [IDS] Reconfirmation of IEEE 2600?
Hi Alan and Brian,
Given that US NIAP has abandoned IEEE 2600 entirely and is urging other
CC members to do so, does the IDS WG and PWG want IEEE 2600 to be
reconfirmed? My understanding is that Korea in particular still recognizes
IEEE 2600.x protection profiles. Do Germany or other EU CC members?
Cheers,
- Ira

Speaking of common criteria....
IEEE standard 2600 needs action to remain active. The dot standards will
need action a little later.
If there is a desire within the industry and someone is identified to lead
the effort, I will put them in contact with the appropriate volunteer
leadership in IEEE to start the work.
Let me know ASAP.
By the way, IEEE 1284 is also expiring and no one has stepped forward for
that one either.
