I have posted a set of operations potentially applicable to the Client to
CloudPrintManager that are derived from the MFD Model & Common Semantics
spec. As in that spec, operations are divided between "basic" and "Admin". I
don't think we have discussed whether we should define admin operations from
a client to a Cloud Print Server or whether this should be out of scope.
Postings are at:
ftp://ftp.pwg.org/pub/pwg/cloud/white/Cloud%20Client%20Operations.pdfftp://ftp.pwg.org/pub/pwg/cloud/white/Cloud%20Client%20Operations.docx
Note that items highlighted in yellow are operations that were referenced in
the MFD Model but not defined. We need to determine if these are valid
operations and the updated model spec needs to be corrected.
Items highlighted in red refer to deprecated operations, and it would seem
reasonable to not include these.
Considerations of these operations may also be applicable to the SM Print
Service and SM Model and Common Semantics updates.
Note that I will not be able to participate in Monday's conference call.
However, please feel free to discuss these operations so long as the minutes
reflect changes.
We do have the new operations for the Cloud Print Manager to Cloud Print
Service that have been defined. DO we need to add any more to these?
Thanks,
Bill Wagner
