There already is an straw man schema/WSDL for Cloud Printing. I started
with the definitions I had from one of my old prototypes and modified
them based on early discussions in the group. Note that the WSDL is
invalid because it is still based on my prototype. The WSDL will be
dropped on the next update. The message schema was updated back in
February based on PWG discussions. The current definitions are way out
of date and there are as some operations added that I don't even
remember what their purpose is anymore. My intention is that once we
get around to another discussion on the Cloud Print Manager to Cloud
Print Service interactions I'll update the operations. I will also
incorporate them as another PortType in the PrintService WSDL once we
get closer to a common understanding of what will be needed.
The current out of date operations and parameters can be viewed at the
URL below. The Cloud Print Manager/Cloud Print Service operations are
segregated in their own sequence at the bottom of the figure.

Cloud WG is to specify the Model, first of Cloud Printing and then of
Cloud Imaging. The IPP group is to generate an IPP Binding to the Model
specification. In theory, the Semantic Model group was to generate "SOAP
binding documents for Cloud Print and Cloud Multifunction services with
associated XML schemas/WSDL definitions and equivalent informative REST
bindings". Practically, with Mike and Ira distracted, the IPP WG may be
running out of steam. With Pete leaving the Semantic Model WG, it seems
unlikely that a Cloud Imaging binding is on the to-do list. So we may
want to consider alternatives.
