I believe that, although IPP implementation may not be considered a prerequisite for the Semantic Model consideration of multifunction services, Semantic Model consideration is necessary for Cloud to deal with multifunction services. As important is the question of whether non-print Cloud Imaging Services make sense. We have already dropped copy service. The IPP WG suggests that there is no expressed industry interest in any IPP Imaging Services other than printing. Although the Model is intended to specify an approach for an eventual binding, is there any suggestion that there is any envisioned Cloud Scanning or Cloud Fax Service? Should we continue with a Cloud Multifunction model, revert to a strictly Cloud Print model, or just trim off some functions such as fax and email (although once you have Print and Scan, the basis exists for all the others)?<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='color:#1F497D'>Thanks,<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='color:#1F497D'>Bill Wagner</span><span style='color:#1F497D'><o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='color:#1F497D'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><div><div style='border:none;border-top:solid #B5C4DF 1.0pt;padding:3.0pt 0in 0in 0in'><p class=MsoNormal><b><span style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Tahoma","sans-serif"'>From:</span></b><span style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Tahoma","sans-serif"'> Ron Nevo [mailto:rnevo@sea.samsung.com] <br><b>Sent:</b> Friday, August 23, 2013 2:29 PM<br><b>To:</b> 'cloud@pwg.org'<br><b>Cc:</b> 'William A Wagner'; 'Michael Sweet'<br><b>Subject:</b> Conference Call Monday 26 Aug at 3PM ET<o:p></o:p></span></p></div></div><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>There will be a Cloud conference call on Monday, 26 Aug at 3PM EDT (Noon PDT). <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='color:#1F497D'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:12.0pt'> Call-in toll-free number (US/Canada): 1-866-469-3239<br> Call-in toll number (US/Canada): 1-650-429-3300 (Primary)<span style='color:#1F497D'>I suggest that formost amojng the discussion subjects</span><br> Call-in toll number (US/Canada): 1-408-856-9570 (Backup)<br><br> Attendee Access Code: *******#<br> Attendee ID Code: # (empty)<br><br>If you need the Attendee Access code, please email me a request.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Meeting information <br>------------------------------------------------------- <br>Topic: IPP/Cloud Imaging WG Telecom <br>Date: Every Monday, from Monday, <span style='color:#1F497D'>OCT</span> <span style='color:#1F497D'>2</span>9, 2012 to no end date <br>Time: 12:00 pm, Pacific Daylight Time (San Francisco) <br>Meeting Number: 624 587 312 <br>Meeting Password: pwg123 <br><br>------------------------------------------------------- <br>Go to <a href="https://appleinc.webex.com/appleinc/j.php?ED=204995427&UID=504472682&PW=NNzM5MmRlMzBl&RT=MiM0">https://appleinc.webex.com/appleinc/j.php?ED=204995427&UID=504472682&PW=NNzM5MmRlMzBl&RT=MiM0</a> <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:10.0pt;color:#993366'><br></span><span style='font-size:10.0pt'><br></span>Agenda:<br><br>(1) PWG IP Policy and Minute Taker <br>(2) Approve Cloud Imaging WG minutes from Aug <span style='color:#1F497D'>7</span> F2F<span style='font-size:10.0pt'><o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='color:#1F497D'> </span><a href="ftp://ftp.pwg.org/pub/pwg/cloud/minutes/cloud-f2f-minutes-20130807.pdf">ftp://ftp.pwg.org/pub/pwg/cloud/minutes/cloud-f2f-minutes-20130807.pdf</a><span style='color:#1F497D'><o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal>(3) Action items:<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal> -
